Welcome

New Relaunch 2010

This website aims to provide local people and visitors to the area with information about Penzances attractions and businesses.

Penzance is situated at the northwest corner of Mount's Bay facing towards St. Michael's Mount. It is a friendly bustling town with a harbour and has Cornwall's only promenade; Penzance derives its name from the Cornish pen sans meaning Holy Headland. The climate here is mild.

Penzance and its surrounding area has much to offer visitors. There are many individual shops as well as cafes, bars and restaurants to suit all tastes. Guest accommodation offers quality, choice and always a warm welcome.

Whether you are here for a short break or a long holiday Penzance cannot fail to entertain you. Cinema, theatre, museums, gardens or just going for a walk along the beach, we promise you will go home rested, relaxed and wanting to return.

Chairman Mr A R Curtis BA (Hons)
